We use both the Nikon D50 and the Nikon D70s digital SLR cameras for still shots, and a pair of Sony HDR HC1 high definition digital camcorders for video.   We're also using an Intel P4 microprocessor based computer and an AMD64 microprocessor based computer in our workstations for editing and rendering.  We're using both linear and non linear software for editing.

The D70S is a 6.1 megapixel camera capable of 3 fps continuous shooting for 144 frames.  The D50 is a 6.1 megapixel camera capable of 2.5 fps continuous shooting for 137 frames.    This makes it possible to capture both candid moments and rapidly changing action.  We carry with us 3 GB of storage for these two digital SLR cameras.  This gives us a very large shooting capacity in JPG format, and quite an impressive capability in uncompressed image format. These cameras and lenses create superb photos when printed up to 11.7x16.5" (A3) and are great for magazine and newspaper photos.
